Dining Options

After a rough year for dining in Anaheim last year, we heard you – and have made several additional efforts for 2016 to facilitate ASTA participants’ business dining needs. As the Walt Disney World complex is a busy and reservations-driven place, ASTA has a variety of solutions in place to help you avoid the struggles of determining where to eat without disrupting your schedule.

Disney Dining reservations are highly recommended for most of the nearby restaurants in the area.  Reservations open 180 days prior to your arrival date by calling (407)WDW-DINE (and you have a 10-day advantage beyond the 180 days if you book your hotel reservation first!). Please make dining reservations as early as possible!

ASTA has worked with Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club to create an easy list of nearby business dining options, found here, which are recommended options for your dinners during your stay. Of course, Walt Disney World and Orlando, in general, offer a variety of options (the town of Celebration has a wonderful version of Tampa’s historic “Columbia Restaurant”) to choose from.

For lunches each day, ASTA has the following plans in place:

  • Lunch concessions will once again be offered inside the Trading Room.
  • The Yacht Club will also be setting up an alternative lunch area just for ASTA participants for an additional quick dining option without requiring reservations. The specific location will be announced closer to program dates.
  • The Yacht Club’s Captain’s Grille is open for lunch and reservations are fairly easy to get – CALL AHEAD to 407-WDW-DINE if you need to be sure to get a table!
  • For a very casual lunch, you can also make reservations at the Yacht Club’s “Beaches and Cream” ice cream and sandwich shop by calling 407-WDW-DINE, which is a fun spot in the style of an old-fashioned Martha’s Vineyard pop shop.
  • The nearby Swan and Dolphin hotel, a five-minute walk, contains 17 restaurants that are not controlled by the Disney Dining process, but reservations at several of their restaurants can also be made through Disney Dining in one phone call. Several of these restaurant are included in the ASTA business dining list.
  • The Yacht & Beach Club is situated on a boardwalk row of restaurants, ranging from fine Italian to ESPN Zone, which are also included in the ASTA business dining list.
  • The Yacht Club also offers 24-hour room service.
