FuSE Hosts Educational Unit in Howe, Indiana

On April 9 and 10, ASTA’s Future Seed Executives Committee (FuSE) held an Education Unit hosted by Gro Alliance in Howe, Indiana. The meeting featured a discussion about the state of the agriculture industry and tours of the seed production facilities of Gro Alliance, Pioneer and Monsanto. Gro Alliance President, Jim Schweigert led a discussion on policy and advocacy within the industry. Steve Engleking with Purdue University Extension of La Grange County talked to the group about agricultural diversity in La Grange County.
