Outcomes of the UN Food Systems Summit Pre-Meeting

Following the pre-meeting of the UN Food Systems Summit, USDA released outcomes along with 15 key positions and principles in a brief background paper. Specifically, USDA noted support for:  socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable food systems; agricultural research development; science-based approaches and innovation; rules-based international trade; and risk-based international standards.
