Did You Miss ASTA’s 2021 Policy & Leadership Development Conference?

  • On July 7, 2021

ASTA members made a much-anticipated return to in-person meetings at the historic hybrid 2021 Policy & Leadership Development Conference (PLDC) in Washington, D.C., June 20-23. Members enjoyed a variety of valuable networking and educational opportunities, in a “live television studio” experience at this unique event. Best of all, due to the sessions being held semi-virtually and all being recorded, it’s not too late for your colleagues to register and view the event at their leisure!

The conference program included several important sessions on the latest seed industry policy developments, including both USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack and Deputy Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh, as well as speakers from USDA, EPA, FDA, the Senate and House Ag Committees, the Biden Administration and many more. The Leadership Development program offered a special session series on relevant cultural workplace issues, including diversity and inclusion, the future of work, mentorship, and women in the seed business. Registration is still available for your employees to access these great sessions on the conference webpage. Current registrants, simply log in using your registration username and password, click on “Session Recordings” button and find the session you would like to watch again.
