ASTA Participates in MSU’s International Agricultural Biotechnology Short Course

On August 13, Ben Rietmann, ASTA’s Director of International Programs and Policy, joined an industry roundtable session organized by Michigan State University (MSU) as part of its annual International Agricultural Biotechnology Short Course. The roundtable was held in the USDA press room in Washington, D.C., and course participants included researchers and government officials from seven countries. ASTA’s participation in the panel allowed us to share seed industry perspectives on international issues related to regulation and trade of biotech crops.
