ASTA Hosts Plant Breeding Innovation Event in Brussels

On June 30, ASTA joined Euroseeds, USDA, and the Argentine Mission to the European Union to host the event, “From Legislation to Implementation: Ensuring the EU’s NGT Framework Works for Innovation and Trade.” The workshop in Belgium brought together regulations, industry and third-country partners at a pivotal moment, as the EU’s New Genomic Techniques Regulation moves into the secondary legislation that will decide how it works in practice.
