USDA Names Simon Liu as New ARS Administrator

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced that Simon Liu, Ph.D. was officially named Administrator of the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) on Jan. 4, 2023 after serving as Acting ARS Administrator since June 2022. In this role, Liu will lead the agency in its efforts to leverage the latest advantages in science and technology and develop innovative solutions to agricultural challenges facing the nation and the world.
