Are you attending ASTA’s Vegetable & Flower Conference later this month in Orlando? Be sure to visit the student poster presentations and get acquainted with some of the brightest minds in the next generation of our industry! This is the second year a student delegation is participating in the conference as part of the University of Florida’s “Challenge 2050” program in collaboration with HM.CLAUSE.

The “Challenge 2050” program provides students with exposure to seed industry issues and potential career opportunities. The poster presentations will take place outside of the Trading Room on Monday, January 30 from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m. Special thanks to HM.CLAUSE for supporting the next generation of seed industry leaders by sponsoring the student delegation’s trip to the conference.

The goal of “Challenge 2050”  is to develop the human capacity to meet the needs associated with a growing population of more than 9 billion people by the year 2050.
