UC Davis Seed Biotechnology Center to Host Seed Production Course

Registration is open for the Seed Production Course from the UC Davis Seed Biotechnology Center. This course is tailored for seed industry professionals to expand their knowledge of Seed Production from agronomic, quality control, and genetic integrity perspectives, for cucurbits, tomato, pepper, brassicas, bienniels, corn and canola. In addition, the course will cover the underlying biology of seed production, key roles of bees and other insect pollinators, and how to apply seed production basics; attention is also given to organic seed production. Students will be able to learn directly from 12 accomplished veterans from the seed industry and academia.
