U.S. DOL Posts Data on State H-2A Wage Rates

Workforce shortages have continued to plague the agriculture industry throughout the pandemic, and American farmers continue to rely on the H-2A guestworker visa program to fill vacant farm positions. Following a 2020 freeze in H-2A worker wages in many states, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) posted the state-by-state H-2A Adverse Effect Rage Rates (AEWR), which determine minimum wages for next year.
