Thanks for Supporting NAFTA Grassroots Day!

On December 6, many of you joined with ASTA and other agriculture organizations in a social media effort in support of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Thanks for your help in spreading the word! Posts on twitter using #Farmers4NAFTA have reached more than 768,000 unique users, with an impression of more than 1 million.  The seed industry was a big part of this effort! ASTA’s #JustGrowIt and #ASTACSS were two of the top most commonly used phrases in NAFTA posts.

Even though the official grassroots day is over, NAFTA remains a key issue for the seed industry and agriculture at large. It’s not too late to keep getting the word out online! Don’t forget to use #Farmers4NAFTA and #JustGrowIt.
