SIPA to Host Ed Unit December 4 in Conjunction with ASTA CSS

Join the Seed Innovation and Protection Alliance (SIPA) for an Education Unit on December 4 in conjunction with ASTA CSS 2017 & Seed Expo. The unit will be held from 1:00 – 3:30 PM CT at the Hyatt Regency Chicago; a webinar option is also available for those wishing to participate remotely.
The unit will be split into two sessions. From 1:00 – 2:30 PM, Barb Campbell of Cochran Freund & Young and James Weatherly of SIPA will discuss a case study on the intellectual property owned by seed dealers and distributors. From 2:30 – 3:30 PM, Matt Grant of Husch Blackwell will lead a discussion on the Lexmark U.S. Supreme Court holding and its impact on the seed industry.
