Prominent Administration Nominations, Appointments Move Forward

The U.S. Senate has confirmed former New Mexico U.S. Representative Xochitl Torres Small as the Undersecretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture for Rural Development. In addition, EPA Administrator Michael Regan recently announced the appointment of Rod Snyder to become EPA’s Agricultural Advisor. Rod formerly served as the President of Field to Market: The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture. In this role, Snyder will head EPA outreach and engagement efforts with the agricultural community and USDA.
