EPA to Host Webinars on Final Rule Related to Use of Plant-Incorporated Protectants

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is hosting two stakeholder webinars on the recent final rule on plant-incorporated protectants (PIPs).

The first webinar, “Final Rule Exemptions of Certain Plant-Incorporated Protectants Derived from Newer Technologies” will be held this afternoon, Wednesday, June 28 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EDT. The second webinar, “Electronic Submission Portal for Exemptions of Certain Plant-Incorporated Protectants Derived from Newer Technologies” will be held July 19 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EDT. This webinar will describe the electronic submission portal that will be used in the notification process, providing a step-by-step demonstration for using the submission portal.
