California Minister of Agriculture Visits Rijk Zwaan Research Station

Last month, California Minister of Agriculture Karen Ross, along with Western Growers Association President Dave Puglia and Helene Dillard of UC Davis, visited one of ASTA member Rijk Zwaan’s research stations in the Netherlands. While there, they discussed how vegetable breeders can develop stronger vegetable varieties that can better cope with pressure from climate change, plant diseases and pests.
