ASTA’s 62nd Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference Sees Large Return from Pandemic

  • On February 13, 2023

ASTA’s 62nd Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference, January 26-31 in Orlando, saw a large increase in participation from its pandemic years, with attendees from 33 countries. Providing a thriving business networking environment and fantastic engagement from the participants, sessions were well attended, and the Trading Room–the conference’s networking hub–was nearly sold out. A highly-rated general session included interactive tabletop discussions, facilitated by keynote speaker Randy Riley, Golden Sun Insights. Sessions on Plant Breeding Innovation and Communications, Women and Inclusion in Seed and State and Federal Policy, as well as several sessions on phytosanitary issues and emerging diseases, enjoyed a packed room with thoughtful interaction by audiences. A variety of sessions are now available on the Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference website for virtual viewing, and virtual registration is still offered for those wanting to gain access to the recordings archive. ASTA extends a big thank you to all the conference sponsors for helping make the event a success! The next Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference will be held in Monterey, CA January 26-30, 2024.
