ASTA Participates in Plant Breeding Innovation Workshop in China

On December 13-14, ASTA participated in a plant breeding innovation workshop sponsored by the International Seed Federation and co-hosted by the China National Seed Association and China National Seed Trade Association. The successful day-and-half workshop was held in Beijing, and focused on global policy alignment and communications efforts by both governments and industry. The event was attended by 70 individuals, including officials from the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, Chinese researchers, and Chinese companies interested in plant breeding innovation technologies. International participants represented the EU, Brazil, U.S., Chile, Colombia, and Canada.
