ASTA Honors Industry Groundbreakers

At a special awards ceremony held during the Leadership Summit, ASTA honored seed industry groundbreakers. Awardees were recognized in the following categories:

• Heritage: Richard Crowder, food & ag policy veteran; and
  Bill Latham, Latham Seeds, Inc.

• Distinguished Service: Donn Cummings, National Association of Plant Breeders
• Lifetime Honorary Member: Craig Newman, AgReliant Genetics/Finding Black Ink, LLC.
• Seed Science Foundation’s Excellence in Science: Manjit Misra, Iowa State University/USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture
