ASTA Delegation Travels to Chile for Coordination on Phytosanitary Issues

A delegation of ASTA members and staff traveled to Santiago, Chile the week of March 6 to participate in key meetings regarding an emerging phytosanitary concern, High Plains Wheat Mosaic Virus (HPWMoV) in corn seed. Industry and government from the U.S. and Chile are coordinating to find solutions in testing, including understand relevance and risk, and harmonizing regulations, to allow the successful and safe movement of seed.
