ASTA Analysis of the Revisions to the Federal Seed Act Regulations Now Available

The Seed Regulatory and Testing Division, Science and Technology Program of USDA-AMS has formally published new rules to revise the regulations that implement the Federal Seed Act (FSA). This process, started over a year ago, includes industry input. In general, revisions were made to seed labeling, testing and certification requirements. ASTA has created two documents to assist with interpretation:
- This document details the suggestions that ASTA included in its initial comments to AMS.
- This document lists an annotated version of all changes to the Act.
