Applications Open for UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy

Applications are open for Class IX of the UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy (PBA) which starts in January 2024. Space is limited for this world-renowned two-year program.
Developed by the UC Davis Seed Biotechnology Center, the PBA seeks to enhance the skills and abilities of current seed industry personnel with the goal of enabling them to become independent breeders or more valuable contributors to larger breeding programs. The course addresses the reduced number of plant breeders being trained in academic programs.
