APHIS Releases Plant Pest and Disease Plans 

The Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) released the FY27 Implementation Plan for the Plant Pest and Disease Management and Disaster Prevention Programs and the National Clean Plant Network. This strategy outlines how APHIS will provide funds to cooperating entities to support projects that protect specialty crops, nursery systems, forestry, natural resources, and other agricultural production systems from harmful and invasive plant pests and pathogens. Since 2009, APHIS has supported more than 6,200 projects and provided over $1 billion in funding.
