USDA Launches Interagency Working Group on Competition and Intellectual Property in Seeds

Following the recommendations of the recently published report on competition and innovation in seeds and other agricultural inputs, on March 23, USDA announced the launch of an Interagency Working Group including the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The working group aims to promote fairer competition in seeds and other agricultural inputs and enhance the delivery of services to the public. For more information, view the press release here.
