SeedFirst PAC Supports Rep. Bishop in Re-Election Campaign

SeedFirst PAC recently supported the re-election campaign of Congressman Sanford Bishop (D-GA-2) at a reception in his honor. Rep. Bishop is the lead Democrat, or “Ranking Member,” of the House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies. He has been a longtime supporter of agricultural research and other policies important to the seed industry.

As the political action committee (PAC) for the seed industry, SeedFirst PAC supports federal congressional candidates who champion the sector’s interests on Capitol Hill. The PAC allows the seed industry to build and strengthen relationships with key lawmakers and share its perspective, ensuring that the industry has champions in the halls of Congress.
