ASTA’s 61st Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference: Expecting Strong Turnout Despite Pandemic

  • On December 22, 2021

ASTA is experiencing significant interest in the upcoming Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference, being held Jan. 28 – Feb. 1 in San Diego. Despite the pandemic’s effects on conventions all over the country, including ASTA’s CSS & Seed Expo in Chicago which saw 71% of its usual participation, the Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference is showing remarkably even-pacing with pre-pandemic registration counts.

“We’re excited to see registrations so far from 23 countries, and over 100 companies registered in our Trading Room,” says ASTA Senior Director of Meetings, Jennifer Crouse.

The ASTA Program Planning Committee for the conference has recently updated its lineup of general session speakers, with two major sessions on the agenda: “Logistics, Short Term and Long Term” and “The Future of Production & Retail.” Early registration and hotel rates expire after January 10.
