ASTA Presents at NASDA Winter Policy Conference in Washington, D.C.

On February 3, ASTA’s Senior Vice President, Scientific Affairs & Policy, Dr. Fan-Li Chou presented at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) Plant Agriculture Committee meeting during the NASDA Winter Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. With 12 state ag department heads in attendance at the committee meeting, Dr. Chou focused on the importance of biotechnology, how seed companies navigate the current regulatory landscape, and where there are opportunities for innovation. ASTA is grateful for the opportunity to advocate for the seed industry in unique forums like NASDA’s conferences and looks forward to continuing this engagement with our state partners and associations.
