ASTA Wraps Successful 2025 Leadership Summit

ASTA held a successful 2025 Leadership Summit June 8-11 in Washington D.C., concluding with its signature Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. To prepare participants for meetings on Capitol Hill, ASTA developed a number of advocacy-focused sessions including a panel on tariffs and trade, insight from EPA and USDA officials, advice on making the most of advocacy engagement, and more.  

For ASTA’s Advocacy Day, 148 seed industry leaders from across the industry were grouped into 17 teams to participate in 87 bipartisan, bicameral meetings on Capitol Hill. These meetings focused on advocating for robust ag research funding, regulatory certainty to support innovation, and maintaining U.S. global leadership in trade.
