ASTA Sends Delegation to Seed Congress of the Americas

From September 29 – October 3, ASTA represented the U.S. seed sector at the 2025 Seed Congress of the Americas. During public plenary sessions and closed door working group meetings, the U.S. seed sector shared its experiences navigating a range of policies impact global seed trade, including: phytosanitary regulatory barriers to seed movement; policies impacting plant breeding innovations (PBI) like genome editing; intellectual property approaches that support seed innovation; and tariffs impacting global seed trade.
