ASTA Submits Comments on Proposed Phytosanitary Requirements in Japan

Last month, ASTA submitted comments on proposed phytosanitary requirements in Japan for the importation of Citrullus amarus seed. ASTA conducted a literature review on seed transmission of Acidovorax citrulli in Citrullus amarus (citron melon), and no evidence was found confirming this pathway of transmission for this commodity.
