Update from AOSA-SCST

Association of Official Seed Analysts (AOSA) and Society of Commercial Seed Technologists (SCST) are going through some exciting times in the next few months. Our membership is currently reviewing the finalized Bylaws for the proposed merged organization, and we have established a schedule of events for our members leading up to ballots being sent out for our members to approve the merger of AOSA and SCST. If approved by both memberships, the merger will go into effect June 1, 2026.

Regardless of outcome, we have seen AOSA and SCST work together more closely over the last two years in preparation for the merger vote than ever before and are excited to announce this year’s Annual Meeting in Rochester, NY June 6-11, 2026. Our annual meetings provide vital tools to analysts at all levels of experience in the form of education, workshops, and networking opportunities, and we encourage anyone with an interest in seed testing to attend.
