ASTA RVP Dan Jenkins Presents on CAST/SIVB Gene Editing Webinar

On January 27, Dan Jenkins, VP of Regulatory and Government Affairs at Pairwise and ASTA Southeast Regional Vice President, presented during a webinar hosted by Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) and the Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB). The webinar, titled “Gene-Edited Crops: Experiences in Product and Global Regulations,” discussed the regulatory landscape for gene-edited crops entering commercial markets around the world.  

Jenkins provided experiences navigating regulatory systems in multiple jurisdictions, how regulatory approaches differ across countries, and what this means for companies, researchers, and the future of crop development.
