ASTA Seeks Intergovernmental Organization Consultant

ASTA is looking for a consultant for intergovernmental organizations impacting the U.S. seed industry. This independent contractor should have extensive experience with intergovernmental organizations, such as the Food and Agriculture Organization, as well as United Nations negotiations and the range of instruments impacting the use of genetic resources by the seed industry, such as the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing under the Convention on Biological Diversity. Emails confirming intent to reply to the RFP are due by December 29, 2025, and all proposals are due by 5 p.m. on January 13, 2026.
