ASTA Wraps 2025 Field Crop Seed Convention
- On December 19, 2025
Nearly 900 seed professionals gathered December 9-12 in Orlando, FL for ASTA’s 2025 Field Crop Seed Convention (FCSC). The event kicked off Wednesday morning with Dan Basse’s popular global ag economic forecast for 2026 with a packed audience, providing a look ahead for the American agriculture commodity sector. On Thursday, Skylar Sowder, Vice President of Government Affairs for Farm Credit Council, led a dynamic panel of growers from across the country in the second general session to share first-hand insights into the realities on the ground – and opportunities ahead. Closing out the week, Dr. Scott Downey, Purdue University, presented an exclusive first look at findings from Purdue’s 2025 Large Commercial Producer Survey, conducted by the Center for Food and Agricultural Business.
Photos from the event can be viewed and downloaded in the event Flickr album. A post-event survey will be sent out in the coming days to gain feedback from attendees and exhibitors as we leave Orlando to return to our stomping grounds in the Midwest for the 2026 FCSC.
Thanks to all the sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees for helping make this year a success. We look forward to seeing you next year in a new location – stay tuned for more information!
