ASTA Becomes Preeminent Voice on Crop Biotechnology

Recently, the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) made the decision to dissolve its Agriculture and Environment Section (BIO AE) to refocus on human health and biopharma.
To ensure that the critical advocacy and regulatory work in agricultural biotechnology continues, ASTA, with the support of its Board of Directors, will be the preeminent voice on all matters related to crop biotechnology.
ASTA’s mission is to be the leading voice of action for the development, marketing, and movement of seed, associated products, and services throughout the world. This move is intended to strengthen that mission. ASTA looks forward to continuing this work.
