ASTA Attends AASCO Annual Meeting

Last week, ASTA participated in the Association of American Seed Control Officials (AASCO) annual meeting. The meeting, which took place in Corvalis, Oregon, included important topics of discussion such as the specificity needed in state noxious weed seed lists, the pros and cons of digital labeling, updates to the seed sampling handbook, and native seed tolerances. ASTA and other partner organizations provided attendees with updates from their individual associations. Finally, the attendees got to go out into the field and see how grass seed is harvested, cleaned, packaged, and labeled by companies across the state.
