Seed Movement and Phytosanitary Policy Expert – SAA

The Seed Association of the Americas (SAA) is looking for an expert in phytosanitary matters and seed movement to lead key actions in the region. It is a senior, remote and part-time position, aimed at promoting science-based regulator frameworks that facilitate international seed trade.

Position Overview:
The Senior Phytosanitary Seed Expert will play a key role in SAA’s efforts to advocate for science-based phytosanitary regulations to facilitate the international movement of seeds. This position requires collaboration with regional and global phytosanitary authorities, engagement with the seed industry (including national seed associations and companies), and active participation in policy development to reduce phytosanitary requirements in accordance with seed purpose and promote regulatory alignment among countries in the Americas.
