ASTA Attends IPPC Meeting in Rome

April 15-19, Dr. Martha Malapi, ASTA’s Director, Seed Health and Trade, participated in the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) 18^th Session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM-18) at the FAO headquarters in Rome. With 400 participants from 185 countries, the CPM-18 session focused on strengthening phytosanitary capacities across nations to safeguard global food security, facilitate safe trade, and protect the environment while improving plant health globally.
