ASTA Welcomes Final Rule on Chile Phytosanitary Regulations

For more than a year, ASTA has been actively engaged in discussions related to proposed phytosanitary regulations in Chile. After several delegation visits, commissioned scientific research, and an ongoing dialogue with Chilean industry and government, ASTA is extremely pleased with the outcome of the final rule, issued on December 16, 2017.
The rule will be discussed in detail during the ASTA Phytosanitary Committee meeting, Sunday, January 29 at 8:30 a.m. during the Vegetable and Flower Seed Conference in Orlando. The full text is available on the ASTA members only website.
